summary: Bred in New Jersey in 1971, this apple has been discontinued and all specimens were apparently destroyed after its use as pollination for the development of NJ109.
origins: Developed in 1971 at Rutger University's Horticulture Research Farm Number 2 in New Brunswick, New Jersey (U.S.A.) by crossing Golden Delicious with pollen from M2439 ( Kronprinz Rudolf x James Grieve ).
ploidism: Self sterile.
