summary: A mutation of Golden Russet, American found in the orchard of Sidney Wheeler near Belchertown, Massachusetts (U.S.A.) in the 1970s. Medium size, round conic, somewhat flattened, often irregular. The skin is yellowish green, blushed reddish brown on the sun exposed face and covered with a cinnamon russet coat. Russeted lenticels. The stem is medium to long, slender and set in a deep and narrow cavity. The flesh is greenish, crunchy and firm. Juicy, sweet, brisk and aromatic, grassy.
