identification: Medium to large size, round conic tending to oblong, lightly ribbed on the faces. The skin is smooth, firm yet thin. Base colour is yellow over which is a red blush and darker broken stripes covering up to 80% of the surface.The stem is medium long and slender.
characteristics: The flesh is creamy white, Crisp, firm and sweet with balanced acidity.
uses: Fresh eating apple, that keeps for two months under optimum storage conditions.
origins: Developed by the Institut für Obstforschung Dresden-Pillnitz (Germany) by crossing Golden Delicious with pollen from Remo . Released in 1997, it is one of 17 Re-cultivars (known as ReZista in North America) developed as part of this programme.
cultivation: Moderately vigorous, upright spreading tree. Very hardy. Precocious. Produces regular, heavy harvests. Tolerates Hardiness Zones 5 to 8.
