identification: Small to medium size. Ribbed. The base colour is greenish yellow maturing to light yellow which is covered 30 to 70 per cent of the surface with heavily striped bright red over colour. The skin is somewhat thick and feels greasy at maturity. The stem is stout and medium long, set in a deep and heavily russeted, green cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is yellowish, moderately crisp, juicy, tart.
origins: A cross of Prima (
Co-op 2 ) with pollen from Krasava (
Krasava ). Developed at the Institute for Experimental Botany in Prague (Czech Republic). Released in 1997.
cultivation: Vigorous, spreading. Produces heavy crops ready for harvest two weeks before the start of the first period.
