identification: Small to medium size, flat to flat-round shape. The base colour is greenish-yellow maturing to yellow with a pale pink blush on the sun-exposed face.
characteristics: The flesh is a pale tan, fine-grained, crunchy. Juicy and sweet with somewhat spicy aroma.
uses: Suited to backyard gardens with limited space. Apples have a long storage period making them suitable for market and supermarket sales.
origins: First documented in 1890 and grown in the Angeln of the Schleiswig-Holstein region of northern Germany adjacent to Denmark .
