identification: Large, can be very large. Rounded to round-flattened, often with pronounced angular sides. Base colour is pale yellow, sometimes blushed orange where exposed to the sun. The calyx is medium to large, partly open and set in a medium-deep, narrow basin which is surrounded by a knobbed crown. The stem is short and medium-thick, set in a medium-deep and funnel-shaped cavity which is sometimes lightly russetted.

origins: A cross of Blenheim Orange and @5486 raised by F. Chilvers, nurseryman in Hunstanton, Norfolk (U.K.). Introduced in 1914.
