summary: A redfleshed mutation of the Abbondanza found in 1960 by Silviero Sansavini of the Arboreal Cultivation of the University of Bologna growing in the Ferrara region of northern Italy. Along with the distinctive reddish to reddish purple stains in the flesh, the skin is completely washed bright red.
