identification: Very large. Conic to long conic. The base colour is yellow, frequently flushed orange on the sun-exposed face and marked with russet.
characteristics: The flesh is pale yellow, firm. Juicy and sweet.
origins: A cross of Golden Delicious with pollen from Indo bred by Sukerkuro Tanuichi at the Aomori Apple Experiment Station, Aomori (Japan), introduced 1977. This is the same parentage as the Orin apple which was developed in the 1940s also at the Aomori Apple Experiment Station, Aomori (Japan).
