identification: Medium size and round. Smooth skin. The base colour is green maturing to yellow, washed bright red over one half or more of the surface. Small, light coloured lenticels.
characteristics: The flesh is white, crunchy and firm. Sweet-tart and aromatic.
origins: Developed in 1986 by the Forschungsanstalt Agroscope Changins-Wädenswil research station in Switzerland by crossing Jersey Mac with pollen from Kidd's D-8 . Released in 1996.
