identification: Small. red. The base colour is yellow over which is a dense pattern of red stripes that covers almost all of the apple. Smooth skin.
characteristics: Flesh is white, firm, crisp and juicy. A rich balance of sweetness and tart. Best used when fully ripened on the tree.
origins: A cross of Delcorf with pollen from Tohoku 3 , Delprim was raised by Georges Delbard in the 1960s at the Delbard nursery at Malicorne, in the Allier Department of Central France. It was released in 1980.
