identification: Large, round flattened with distinctly ribbed faces. Pale greenish yellow, sometimes with a light blush on the sun exposed face. No other markings.
characteristics: The flesh colour is white. Fine grained, crisp. Sprightly and juicy.
origins: Found by Wrixham McIlvaine as a chance seedling growing amid his orchard of
White Transparent near Magnolia, Delaware (U.S.A.) in 1920. Introduced in 1940.

cold storage: Does not keep more than a few days in refrigeration.
