identification: Medium size, round to round conic, often with angular sides. The skin base colour is yellowish washed almost completely deep red and marked extensively with a brownish orange russet which is particularly prominent around the eye and stem. The eye is small and partly open, set in a medium deep and narrow basin. The stem is very short and stout, set in a shallow and narow cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is creamy white, fine grained, crisp and firm. Moderately sweet with excellent flavour.
