identification: Medium size, somewhat five sided and four or fived knobs at the crown. The skin is yellowish with a brownish red cheek on the sun exposed face. Coated with a dull grey russet on the shaded side. The stem is short and set in a deep cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is firm, crisp. Juicy, sweet and brisk. Keeps a month or two in storage.
uses: An eating apple.
origins: Waverham (a derivation of Wareham)
ploidism: Self sterile.
