identification: Large, round and oblate, angular sides. The skin is golden yellow with a brownish blush on the sun exposed face. Greyish lenticels. Some russet streaks. The stem is long and set in a deep cavity which is lined with a thick and scaly russet.
characteristics: The flesh is yellow, firm and crisp. Juicy, slightly tart and astringent. Keeps two months in cold storage.
