identification: Medium size, round to round conic. Washed red and marked with darker stripes on the sun exposed face with faint intermitent stripes extending slightly into the shaded face. The eys is large and open, set in a shallow and narrow basin. The stem is short, medium thick and set in a deep and narrow cavity surrounded by rays of brown russet.
characteristics: The flesh is greenish, crisp. Somewhat sharp and very aromatic.
