identification: Small, conic apple. The skin base colour is a creamy yellow which is blushed pink and marked with bright red broken stripes, sparse toward the shaded side, dense on the full sun face. A few light coloured, small raised lenticels are scattered across the sun?exposed face.The stem is moderately long for the size of the apple, quite stout and knobbed at the end, set in a deep and fairly narrow cavity which is very lightly russeted. The skin is moderately tough.
characteristics: Yellowish flesh is fine grained, tender and juicy. Very sweet and pleasantly tart with a flavour of rose, pear and slightly nutty. Resists browning for about an hour after being cut open.
uses: A wonderful, small dessert apple.
ploidism: Self sterile.
