identification: Medium size, round conic. Greenish yellow flushed red and marked with light coloured lenticels on the sun exposed face. The eye is large and closed, set in a shallow, ribbed basin. The stem is moderately long and slender, set in a somewhat deep and narrow cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is white, coarse grained. Dry, sweet and aromatic with a peach flavour.

origins: NFC: Raised by Rivers of Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire. Introduced in 1893.
cultivation: Vigorous.
cold storage: Does not store well.
