summary: A red-stained cultivar with showy blossoms in spring and strawberry-flavoured fruit come fall.
identification: Small to medium size, round. The base colour is greenish yellow, but almost entirely blushed bright red. The calyx is medium size, closed with long narrow petals, set in a lightly ribbed, shallow basin. The stem is short and stout, set in a moderately deep, wide cavity which is russetted. Heavy bloom develops on the skin when ripe.
characteristics: The white flesh is stained pink with pink stains. Crisp. Juicy, sweet develops a pronounced strawberry flavour in storage.

cultivation: Moderately vigorous, upright spreading tree. Bears fruit on spurs. Requires thinning to produce sizeable fruit. Produces best crops in full sun.
