The eye is medium size and closed, set in a deep and narrow basin which is surrounded by a lightly knobbed crown. The stem is short and medium thick, set in a deep and narrow cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is white, coarse grained and soft.
uses: Cooking. Slices hold their shape and become fruity, sharp in pies.
