identification: Medium to large size. The skin is slightly rough, yellow and washed 60 to 90 per cent bright red. Russeted lenticels. The stem slender and long, set in a deep, wide and russeted cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured, fine?grained, crunchy. Juicy, sweet?tart and aromatic. Brix 11, acidity 5.0 g/litre
origins: Developed by the Institut f r Obstforschung Dresden? Pillnitz (Germany) by crossing Clivia with 13 X 44,14, a sca resistant V?floribunda clone. Released in 1993, it is one of Re?cultivars (known as ReZista in North America) developed a part of this programme.
cultivation: Weakly vigorous, with weeping branches. Precocious. Flowers heavily and needs to be thinned at fruit set. Suitable for small gardens. Best used with M.9 and m.26 rootstock.
