origins: Developed at the Shaanxi Fruit Research Institute, Yangling, Wugong County, Shaanxi Province (China) by crossing Golden Delicious with pollen from Jiguan (????????a cross of Ralls Janet and Red Delicious???????). Introduced in 1970.
ploidism: Self sterile.
