identification: Small, round to round conic. The base colour is greenish yellow, washed deep red on the sun exposed face and marked with a pattern of red stripes that also show on the shaded face, though faint. The eye is small and closed, set in a medium deep, wide basin. The stem is long and slender, set in a deep and narrow, russeted cavity. Tough skinned.
characteristics: The flesh is greenish white, crisp. Sweet and aromatic.
