identification: Medium tending to large. Round to round conic. The base colour is green over which there is usually a red wash and a pattern of darker stripes which extends faintly onto the shaded, green faces. The eye is meduim size and open, set in a shallow basin. The stem is short to medium, and slender, set in a shallow and medium wide cavity which is lightly russeted. The russeting can sometimes extend over the apple.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured, coarse grained, firm. Juicy, sweet, aromatic and rich.
