identification: Small. Round. The base colour is green maturing to yellow over which is a deep red, almost maroon blush, marked with darker striping and scattered patches of russet. The eye is large and partly opened, set in a medium deep and open basin which is sometimes surrounded by a faintly knobbed crown. The stem is medium long to long, set in a medium deep and narrow, russeted cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is cream coloured, firm and crips. Sweet with a tart pineapple flavour.
