identification: Large to very large. Round and lightly ribbed. The skin is smooth, green maturing to yellow which is almost entirely washed a bright red.
characteristics: Sweet-tart with an intense fruity aroma.
origins: Developed by the Institut für Obstforschung and Institut für Obstzüchtung Dresden-Pillnitz (Germany) by crossing Idared with Bancroft. Introduced in 1999.
cultivation: Vigorous. Does well on M.9 rootstock
cold storage: Keeps up to six months.
harvest: In the middle of the fourth period.
ploidism: Self sterile. Group ???? Day ????. (same as Idared) The blossoms can tolerate late frosts.
