identification: Round?conic, large. The base colour is green over which is a dark crimson wash covering about half the apple. The eye is moderately large and partly open in a shallow basin. The stem is short and medium stout, set in a rather shallow, funnel shaped cavity which is russeted with the russeting radiating out over the shoulder.
