characteristics: The flesh is white, semi-firm. coarse-grained and sweet. Tends to be dry. Browns easily and quickly when exposed to air.
origins: Developed in 1912 at the New York State Agriculture Experiment Station in Geneva, New York (U.SA.) by crossing Zusoff with McIntosh. Introduced in 1928.
cultivation: Vigorous. Spur bearer. Biennial.
harvest: Ready for harvest in the middle of the fourth period.
ploidism: Diploid. Self sterile.
