identification: Medium size, flattened round. The base colour is greenish yellow washed deep almost purple red with a dense pattern of lighter red stripes at the faded edge of the wash. The eye is small and closed, set in a deep and wide basin which is surrounded by a knobbed crown. The stem is short and stout, set in a deep and funnel shaped basin which is russeted.
