identification: Medium to large in size and conical in shape. Skin has a yellow base colour extensively covered with flushes and streaks of bright red, heaviest of the sun exposed face. When ripe the surface of the skin feels noticably greasy.
characteristics: Flesh is creamy white, crisp, sweet and juicy. Four months in cold storage.
uses: A good fresh eating apple. Also used for cooking.
origins: Found in 1905/1908? as a chance seedling at Wright’s Nursery in North Walsham, England,
