identification: Round conic, often irregular shape. The base colour is yellow green over hich is an orange red blush covering up to 40 per cent of the surface. Small, tan?coloured lenticels are predominantly on the fruit shoulder and slightly raised, giving the skin a slightly rough feel. The stem is short to medium length, medium thickness and clubbed, set in a deep and open cavity which can be lightly russeted.
characteristics: The flesh isyellowish, medium to coarse grained, firm, crisp and breaking. Sweet, slightly tart and richly aromatic. Keeps for up to five months without losing texture or flavours in cold storage.
uses: A good desert apple that matures late and can be stored for a long time.
