identification: Small, round oblate. The skin base colour is golden yellow completely washed bright red with dark red broken stripes on the sun exposed face; the shaded side has scattered light red stripes. The stem is short and slender, in a wide cavity. Character of the
origins: It was described in Robert Hogg’s 1884 edition of The Fruit Manual. Possibly a seedling of Bromley.
