identification: Medium size, conic tending to long conic, faintly ribbed on the sides. The skin is glossy with the base colour is golden yellow, over which is a deep red blush that covers two thirds to three quarters of the surface. Thin red, borken stripes are evident where the base colour shows through, particularly at the shoulders of the stem basin and on the shaded face. The stem is moderately long and somewhat slender, set in a narrow, deep cavity, surrounded by a faintly knobbed crown. The ey is medium size and partly open, set in a wide, rather shallow basin.
