identification: Small, round to round conic. The base colour is green over which is a dense pattern of fine, red stripes. Smooth and shiny skin. The stem is short and slender, set in a deep and narrow cavity. The calyx is medium size and closed, set in a medium deep, funnel-shaped basin.
characteristics: The flesh is white to very pale green. Coarse grained and very tart. Not favoured for eating.
origins: Originated in southwestern Macedonia
cultivation: Moderately vigorous, upright spreading. Bears fruit on short branches. Precocious. In ideal growing medium, it produces annual harvests, otherwise biennially.
harvest: Ready to be picked late in the fifth period.
ploidism: Diploid. Self sterile.
