identification: Medium size, round. The base colour is yellowish over which is a reddish blush and marked with darker stripes.
characteristics: Very sweet, can have a distinct licorice flavour, though the growing conditions need to be right.
origins: A chance seedling found in Oregon (U.S.A.) by Milo Gibson in the mid-1900s. Originally named Linnton, but renamed in 1975 in honour of Milo Gibson following his death.
