identification: Small and round to round conic. The base colour is green, over which is a red wash and a pattern of thin, darker red stripes. The eye is large and partly open, set in a shallow basin. The stem is medium length and stout, set in a deep and narrow cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is pale cream coloured, firm and tender. Sweet and sprightly, fruity.. Keeps three months in cold storage.
