identification: Large, oblong and slightly conic. The base colour is greenish yellow over which is a deep red wash and a pattern of darker stripes. The eye is medium size and clsoed, set in a medium wide and medium deep basin. The stem is medium length and slender, set in a deep and somewhat narrow cavity which is surrounded with a cinnamon colour russet. Scattered faint, light coloured spots.
characteristics: The flesh is white. Juicy and sweet. Keeps two months in cold storage.
