identification: Medium size. Conic to oblong. Green, possibly with a faint blush on the sun exposed face. Abundantly marked with small, dark lenticels. The eye is small and partly open, set in a deep and narrow basin. The stem is medium stout and short, set in a deep and narrow, russeted cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is greenish white, coarse grained, crisp. Sweet-sharp when first picked, but becomes sweeter and more flavourful and fruity in storage.
