identification: Medium size Round tending to conic. Yellow base colour over which is a deep red wash covering the sun exposed face and striped red on the shaded face. The eye is small and partly open, set in a moderately deep and wide basin. The stem is medium long and slender, set in a lightly russeted cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is deep cream coloured, crisp. Juicy, highly aromatic, honeyed. Keeps three months in cold storage.
