identification: Small, conic with a pronounced five-knobbed crown. The base colour is greenish with a brownish overlay on the shaded face, The rest of the apple is flushed maroon with an abundance of light coloured spots visible against the flush. The eye is small and partly open, set in a shallow, open basin. The stem is long and slender, set in a deep, funnel shaped, russetted cavity.
