    identification: Medium size, round tending to round conic and often irregular. The base colour is a yellowish tan over which is a solid red blush on the sun exposed face and a pattern of fine red stripes on the faded edges of the blush. The eye is small and tightly closed, set in a somewhat shallow and narrow basin. The stem is short and moderately stout, st in a deep and narrow cavity.
            
    characteristics: The flesh is white, stained pink under the skin. Soft, crisp.Sprightly. Keeps two months in cold storage.

    origins: NFC Raised at Long Ashton Research Station, Bristol.  was received by the National Fruit Trials in 1928
