identification: Largesize. Round. The skin colour is pale yellow which is washed dark red one the sun exposed surface and marked with light?coloured lenticels. Tough skinned. The eye is small and partly open, set in a very shallow and ribbed basin. The stem is medium length, slender and set in an open, moderately deep and russeted cavity, with russet rays sometimes extending onto the shoulder.
characteristics: The flesh is white, crisp and tender. Sweet, sprightly and aromatic.
