identification: Small tending to medium. Conic or somewhat oblate. The skin colour at maturity is greenish yellow which is blushed red on the sun exposed face, but not where shaded by a leaf or twig. The eye is medium large and partly open, set in a medium deep and open, puckered basin. The stem is medium length and somewhat stout, set in a deep and open cavity which often has a fleshy swelling off to the side of the stem.
characteristics: The flesh is greenish white, fine grained and firm. Sweet, brisk and fruity. Keeps four months in cold storage.
