identification: Medium size. Flat round to conic. The skin is greenish yellow over which is a bright red blush and a pattern od darker stripes that fade gradually on the shaded face. Scattered grayish brown russet lenticels. The eye is moderately large and open, set in a narrow and shallow, puckered basin. The stim is short and stout, set in a somewhat shallow and narrow, russet cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is white with red stains next to the skin. Tough and coarse grained. Sharp. Keeps for less than a month in cold storage.
