identification: Large. Round conic with angled faces. The skin smooth and greenish yellow flushed deep red with bright red striping as it fades on the shaded faces. The eye is small and open set in a narrow, shallow basin which is surrounded by an even crown. The stem is short and slender, set in a moderatedly shallow cavity which is russeted with rays extending over the shoulder.
characteristics: The flesh is creamy yellow, sweet and aromatic. Keeps three months in cold storage.
