identification: Small, round shape. The base colour is yellow, over which is deep purple blush and a faint pattern of narrow striping. The stem is long and stout, set in a shallow and moderately wide cavity. The calyx basin is shallow moderately wide.
characteristics: The flesh is cream-coloured. Somewhat firm. Good sweet-tart balance. Browns slightly when exposed to air for more than an hour.
origins: Developed by in 1978 by A.D. Crowe at the Agriculture & Agri-Food Canada Atlantic Food & Horticulture Research Centre in Kentville, Nova Scotia (Canada) from a cross of C13-05-01 as the female parent with S34-01-19 as the male parent.
cultivation: Moderately vigorous. Spreading growth. Bears fruit on spurs.
