identification: Medium size, round tending to round-flattened, often tending to lop-sided. The base colour is straw yellow over is a orange-red blush. The calyx is closed.
characteristics: The flesh is white. Juicy and very sweet with a slight tartness.
origins: Grown in the Burgundy region of France since the 1700s and still well represented in the Côte-d'Or.
ploidism: Self sterile.
