identification: Medium to large size, conic, often irregular shape. The base colour is greenish yellow washed dark red and marked with white lenticels. The stem is short, rising just proud out of a deep and narrow, russetted cavity. The calyx is closed, set in a pleated basin.
origins: West Virginia (U.S.A.)
harvest: Ready for harvest late in the third period.
ploidism: Self sterile.
