identification: Large size, round conic shape. Skin is covered from 70 to 90% with red blush.
characteristics: The flesh is pale yellow, very firm. Moderately sweet (Brix 11.7) but lacks flavour.
origins: Gallia Beauty crossed with White Winter Pearmain at the New Jersey Agricultural Experiment Station in New Brunswick, New Jersey (U.S.A.). Selected in 1947 and introduced in 1954.
cultivation: Vigorous. Dense growth. Biennial tendency.
vulnerabilities: Resistant to fire blight.
