identification: Large. The skin is smooth with a slightly waxy feel. The base colour is greenish yellow maturing to cream, over which There is a bright red flush on the sun exposed face. Small, lightcoloured lenticels are most evident on the flush. The eye is half open to closed, set in a shallow almost non? existant basin surrounded by prominent puckering. The stem is moderately long and moderately thick, set in a shallow and narrow cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is pale green, moderately firm. Juicy and sweet and quite tart.

cultivation: Moderately vigorous, dome shaped form with weeping branches. The fruit develops on one year old wood. Grows best in partial shade and prefers temperate coastal climates.
