identification: Large, round ovate and often irregular shape. The faces tend to be angular and the ridges at the eye and stalk have distinct knobs. The skin base colour is greenish yellow with a dull red blush on the sun exposed face. Lenticels are tiny and russeted on the shades face, black on the sun exposed face. The stalk is short and set in a deep cavity.
characteristics: The flesh is white, firm, crisp, sprightly and sweet. Keeps about four months in storage.
